If you know me at all, you know that I’m cuckoo for Roll for Inspiration! I love letting the dice decide what I’m drawing. It takes the hardest part of the decision making out of my hands and lets me jump in.

For me, journaling through the Morning Pages method totally changed my life. It made me more self-aware, making it easier to recognize my own patterns and learn how to orient myself toward my goals. It’s like talking to my subconscious!

To answer my own question, I like to recommend Tombow Dual Brush Pens for newbies. These have fabulous features to help beginners to get used to the feel of a brush pen.

Currently, I’m favoring a custom palette made with Daniel Smith, Qor, & Sennelier watercolors. My current favorite brush is a gorgeous Winsor & Newton Series 250 Squirrel brush (size 2).
